FIX YOUR EYES ON GOD

Father, I give you all the praise and glory for another day that was not promised. I’m grateful for your continued blessings.

Father, as many have started their morning journey, they pause to thank you for your love, blessings, and protection. They know that it is only by your grace and mercy that they have life and have it so abundantly. Therefore, they continue to focus on the positives despite the various sources of negativity.

Father, help all to fix their eyes on you and your wondrous favor, grace, mercy, joy, protection, forgiveness, and peace beyond understanding. Help all to seek your approval, not the approval of men or women who cannot control or direct their own path in life.

“Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from beginning to end. He did not give up because of the cross! On the contrary, because of the joy that was waiting for him, he thought nothing of the disgrace of dying on the cross, and he is now seated at the right side of God’s throne.” Hebrews 12:2

Father, as many have awakened and have begun their morning journey, they smile because your love is never-ending. Despite their shortcomings, you continue to allow your Holy Spirit to direct their path. When they are weak, you provide them with the strength to accomplish the mission at hand. When they are doubtful, you bring to their rememberance that you have never failed them.

Father, help all to depend upon you for all things. Help them to understand that you are indeed the answer to all their needs and wants. Moreover, you have never, and will never forsake them.

Father, praise your holy name for another blessed morning in Christ. I’m grateful for a second chance.

Father, as many have awakened and are beginning their morning journey, they sing praises to you through your Son, Jesus Christ, for your unconditional love, peace through their storms, as well as their happiness despite the darkness that tries to dim their light.

Father, thank you for being ever-present in the lives of all who continue to love despite the non-reciprocation of such love from those who oftentimes cause the most havoc in their lives.

Help all to understand that you know the heart of everyone; therefore, always confess their sins, repent, and return to you through their words as well as their deeds.

Father, help all who choose to focus on pleasing those who are conformed to this world. Help all who know to do that which is right, but choose to do whatever it takes to please their flesh. Moreover, help those who know of you but have not formed a relationship with you through your Son, Jesus Christ.

Father, as many have awakened and have begun their morning journey, they sing praises to you for your “peace, which surpasses all understanding.”

When they were in the midst of darkness, they feared not, for your Holy Spirit guided them through and to peace and serenity.

When they were challenged beyond measure, you provided them with the fortitude to rise above the occasion.

When they feared what was to come, they were reminded of your peace, which surpasses all understanding.

Father, help all to understand that there is neither one nor anything on earth that compares to your holy powers. Help them to put all their trust in you and continue to trust you for all things.

Instead of giving up or giving in, they pause to say a prayer of thankfulness and for the willpower to overcome all challenges. They understand that you are definitely the key to their livelihood, happiness, peace, and joy.

Father, help all to cling tight to you through the good and the bad, the light and the darkness, as well as the faith and the fear.

“But you shall cling to the LORD, your God, just as you have done to this day. For the LORD has driven out before you great and strong nations. GUIDED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

Father, praise your holy name for this blessed morning in Christ. I’m grateful for your love and protection.

Father, as many have awakened and have begun their morning journey, they are filled with your Holy Spirit. They are focused on turning their wrongs into rights: sadness to happiness, and despair to joy. They are also determined to ‘brake the chain around them so that nobody else can bind them’.

Father, help all to understand that you, through your Son, Jesus Christ, are essential in their lives. Help them to understand that your Holy Spirit, which dwells within, “guides us by calling us into relationship with Jesus. The Spirit guides us by purging our sinful urges and growing his fruits. The Spirit guides us with the truth of his written word. The Spirit guides us through the process of godly discernment.”

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” (Galatians 5:22-24).

Father, as many have awakened and have begun their morning journey, they pause to say thank you for another blessed morning that was not promised. They do not take such blessings for granted because they know that it is only by your grace that they are present in the body.

Instead of dwelling on what did not come to fruition, they focus on the grace, mercy, and love that you continue to provide to them despite their shortcomings.

Instead of dwelling on what others may think about them, they focus on remaining faithful to you through your Son, Jesus Christ.

Father, help all to choose righteousness over sinfulness. Help all to understand that they oftentimes focus on the feedback of others more than your holy word. Help all to understand that people will come and go into their lives, but your holy spirit is always constant in their lives.

“But when he, the Spirit of Truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you.” John 16:13-14

Father, as many have awakened and are beginning their morning journey, they sing praises to you for the gift of life. Despite their shortcomings, you have never forsaken them or led them astray. Despite them choosing wrong over right, you continue to forgive them after their true repentance and continuously guide them from darkness to the path of righteousness.

Father, help all to understand that a relationship with you through your Son, Jesus Christ, is necessary and rewarding. Help them know that you are the key to their livelihood, happiness, and blessings. Moreover, help all to understand that a true relationship with you through your Son, Jesus Christ, is essential. Therefore, cling closely to you, adoring, worshipping, and obeying you through Christ at all times.

DEPENDENCY ON GOD

Instead of allowing their circumstances to depict their mood, they choose happiness. Instead of allowing doubt to fester within, they pause to pray a prayer of thankfulness for what is to come. They understand that what you have purposed for them is far greater than their former experiences.

Father, help all to understand that you know all things. Therefore, place all their faith in you, through your Son, Jesus Christ.
