Father, praise your holy name for another blessed morning in Christ. I’m grateful for your unconditional love.

Father, as many have awakened and are beginning their morning journey, they sing praises to you for another opportunity to get it right. They know that it is only because of you through your Son, Jesus Christ, that they have life and have it more abundantly. Therefore, instead of giving in or giving up, they continue to push through and push for excellence as children of God.

Instead of worrying about what someone has said, done, or planned to do, they continue to focus on being more like you would want them to be. They wash their hands of naysayers. They stop entertaining those who allege they are for them when, in reality, they are full of envy and covetousness.

Father, help all who find themselves fighting battles that appear to be never-ending. Help them to give all things, situations, and/or battles to you through your Son, Jesus Christ. Help them understand that no weapon formed against them will prosper.

“And he said, The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; the God of my rock; in him will I trust; he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my savior; thou savest me from violence. I will call on the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.” 2 Samuel 22:2-4
