CLING CLOSELY TO GOD – My Thoughts ~ Linda Walker

Father, I praise your holy name for another blessed morning in Christ. I’m grateful for your unconditional love and continued guidance.

Father, as many have awakened and have begun their morning journey, they sing praises to you through your Son, Jesus Christ, for your continued blessings and favor.

They know that it is only by your grace that they have life and have it more abundantly. Therefore, instead of dwelling on what did not occur or transpire, they focus on the blessings you continuously bestow upon them.

Father, help all to understand that you, through your Son, Jesus Christ, are the key to happiness as well as their salvation. Therefore, instead of dwelling on what did not occur, focus on what you have allowed to occur.

Father, help all to continue to walk the path that you established for them. Help them to understand that you come so that they may have life and have it more abundantly. Therefore, cling closely to you through your Son, Jesus Christ, for all things.

“But cleave unto the Lord your God, as ye have done unto this day.” Joshua 3:8

Father, as many have awakened and have begun their morning journey, they smile because you continue to bless them with the gift of life. Despite the various obstacles that they face, they are rest assured that all things will turn out for their good. They are aware that when things are going well, the devil will try to creep into their life to cause discourse, confusion, and strife. Therefore, they cling more closely to you because you have all power for them to withstand the various tactics and wiles of the devil.

Father, help all continue to put you first, knowing that you have total control over all things and situations.
