A TRUE DEPENDENCY ON CHRIST

Father, praise your holy name for another blessed morning in Christ. I’m grateful for your second chance.

Father, as many have awakened and have begun their morning journey, they send praises to you for your unconditional love. It is only by your grace that they are present in the body. Therefore, they strive to continue to put you first in their life on a daily basis.

They know that nothing is impossible with you; therefore, they continue to cling to your unchanging hands.

When they are sick, you protect them throughout the process and restore their health. When they are weak, you provide them with the strength to endure pain.

When they feel defeated, you never allow them to become deflated by the circumstances of life. Instead, you push them through and to excellence!

Father, help all to realize that a dependency upon you results in renewed and restored health.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

Father, praise your holy name for this blessed morning in Christ. I’m grateful for the gift of life.

Father, as many have awakened and have begun their morning journey, they sing praises to you for your continued grace and mercy. Despite their shortcomings, your love for them remains constant. They pray day and night to be able to do that which pleases you instead of that which pleases man. However, they understand that both good and bad experiences are needed to grow spiritually as well as get closer to you through your Son, Jesus Christ.

Father, help all to examine themselves daily in accordance with your holy word. Help them to always yield to temptation and put on the breastplate of righteousness daily.

“Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.” Ephesians 6:14-17

ANEW IN CHRIST

Father, I give you all the praise for another blessed morning in Christ. I’m grateful for your unconditional love.

Father, as many have awakened and have begun their morning journey, they sing praises to you through your Son Jesus Christ. They know that it is only by your grace and mercy that they are forgiven of their sins and allowed to start anew. They pray for a keen mindset, spiritual renewal, and peace beyond understanding. They know that you, through your Son Jesus Christ, are the answer to all of their needs and wants. They trust that you will continue to direct their path and know, without doubt, that no weapons formed against them will prosper.

Father, help all to understand that the devil comes in many disguises. Therefore, pray for discernment to attest truth from manipulation; spirituality from wickedness, and love from envy. Moreover, help all to trust in you that you will always guide and direct their steps.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10
