WHOSE HAND WILL YOU CLING TO?

Father, I praise your holy name for another blessed morning in Christ. I’m grateful for the gift of life.

Father, as many have awakened and have begun their morning journey, they sing praises to you, through your Son, Jesus Christ, for the gift of life as well.

Despite their shortcomings, you continue to forgive, provide, protect, and direct. Your love is one-of-a-kind that grows stronger daily. Your faithfulness is incomparable to anyone on earth. Because of you, they are able to push through their obstacles, knowing that you will never forsake them.

Father, help all to understand that you are present and will always be present to carry them through their darkest experiences. Help them all to understand that you will never forsake them. Therefore, they should continue to cling closely to your unchanging hand during the good and the bad.

“Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, and I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8

TOTAL DEPENDENCE ON GOD THROUGH CHRIST

Father, praise your holy name for another blessed morning in Christ. I’m grateful for your unconditional love.

Father, as many have awakened and have begun their morning journey, they pause to say a prayer of thankfulness. They know that it is only because of you, through your Son, Jesus Christ, that they have life. They know that your love is never-ending; therefore, they continue to push through negativity, darkness, difficulties, and other distractions through their faith and dependency upon you through your Son, Jesus Christ.

Father, help all to know that there will be days where they may want to give up; however, they must remember that the trials in life are tests or measures needed to push them to a total dependence upon you through Christ, and not a dependence upon themselves or man.

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Corinthians 12:9–10

GOD AWAITS YOUR CALLING

Father, praise your holy name for another blessed morning in Christ. I’m grateful for the gift of life.

Father, as many have awakened and are beginning their weekend journey, they pause to pray a prayer of thankfulness. They know that despite their shortcomings, you continue to forgive them and redirect their path. They know that despite their pain, you will always provide them with the relief they need, and at the right time.

Father, help all to understand that you are always present in their lives and that you await their calling to rescue them from pain and sorrow and their willingness to give up on fighting the various obstacles that arise.

‘”Nevertheless, each person should live as a believer in whatever situation the Lord has assigned to them, just as God has called them. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches.” 1 Corinthians 7:17
